How do we “MAKE” Disciples who love Christ, love one another, and who are prepare to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
To the Body of Christ,
After much prayer and consideration with other key leaders of our Church I have assembled a necessary NextStep Spiritual Growth Process to posture you to become completely obedient to the cause of Christ. My heart desire is to create an atmosphere that enables your spiritual growth. Why? As you grow in Christ, you will go in Christ. When you enter the place of maturity it will then position you to be fully and completely used by God.
Is this you? Do you desire to be fully used by God? If so, I will challenge you to fully participate in the entire growth process. I would also say, do not participate only for your benefit but do it for others. There are others within the Body who need you to grow so that they may grow for you are our future teachers and leaders. Lastly, do it for the glory of God. You have the wonderful opportunity to glorify the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords with the gifts He has graciously given to you. Now is the time!
Therefore as you examine your life, your time, your schedule, and previous commitments consider Philippians 2:1-8. It is a Chapter that I am forever drawn back to as I seek to serve you. For our service, even our preparation to serve is a sacrifice. It is a denial of me for you and you for me. This is the heart of Christ. And true spiritual growth is the heart of Christ!
